Not even a third of our way into the program and Matt and I are both down a pant size!
I had to buy new pants this week. I am officially back to my pre pregnancy size. I gained A LOT of weight during my pregnancy with Henry so to finally get here after so much hard work feels incredible. I still have more work to do but I've reached my first goal.
I would highly reccomend Power 90 to anyone who wants to make a positive change but isn't afraid of a little hard work. The workout itself is becoming easier everyday, but finding the time to do it is another story. We get 1 day off a week and we work out hard for the other 6 days.I am sleeping better at night, I feel happier and healthier, and I haven't had 1 migraine since I started the program. I have more energy during the day and I'm getting more done.
I have learned that program isn't about more then changing what is on the inside. You need to change how you think and feel about exercise to commit to P90.

A week and a half into the program
After 10 days of being on Power 90 I am seeing something amazing/shocking happen to my body. After 5 days into the program I was down 2.5 pounds, but then I started to gain a little back. I am still losing inches though. I'm gaining muscle! This is not something I am used to. In the past when I've worked out I have done mostly cardio and have never put so much focus on strength training. This is incredible and honestly I'm not quite sure how to wrap my head around it. I have decided I am going to put the scale away for at least the remainder of my first month on Power 90. After I reach day 30 I am going to take measurements and pictures FIRST, then get on the scale. Clearly the number on the scale doesn't mean much. I am working harder then I have ever worked before. I am eating healthy, drinking a lot of water, and taking my vitamins. The one thing I've been guilty of the past few nights is not having a small snack before bed. Most people are probably thinking "NO you can't snack before bed!" and normally I wouldn't. But I am exclusively breastfeeding and I need to keep up my calories otherwise my body will go into starvation mode easily.
I really like Power 90 so far. It challenges me but it isn't so hard that I can't do it. I have to dig deep though and force myself. I think that is always something I will struggle with. I am a lazy person and I don't like to work out. But I do it for myself and I do it for my children. I have gotten used to the routine to the point where I can turn down the tv and turn on my own music which really helps to motivate me.
So no weekly weigh ins from me. I need to be less concerned with the scale and more concerned with my overall progress. My goal was to build muscle and to get stronger and that is happening so I am very happy so far : )
